Firstly, we want to give a huge thanks to our think tank group of schools. A wide range of schools is represented in this group, including special, primary, secondary and non-association independent. These school leaders are being innovative in their self-evaluation thinking and school improvement strategies – creating bespoke processes which suit their settings perfectly.

The BST Bundle
Here at schoolweave, we are listening to this creativity. Consequently, the BST bundle is continuously evolving according to schools’ needs and requirements during this time. A good example is how senior leaders are distilling the evidence from the monitoring and evaluation work of subject leaders. This is enabling senior leaders to create a succinct document that captures the current effectiveness of their whole school curriculum offer. From that senior leaders can adapt and develop areas that may require improvement, and celebrating the areas in which they are performing effectively.
Governors are keen to engage even more. This is due to the fact they are being provided with helpful documents which enable them to explore the nature and impact of the curriculum.

BST & The Remote Learning Audit
It will be interesting to see how schools relate their learning from the remote learning audit to our ‘original’ audit, BST. It is uplifting to see school leaders taking ownership of their future provision and school improvement strategies. We wish them every success.
