Empowering School Leadership

Our world is changing – in many more ways than one. More of us are questioning if traditional leadership approaches are enabling organisations to develop as well as they might.

Perhaps courageous leadership is being willing to gain knowledge about how best to enable everyone in the organisation to make decisions for themselves. Moreover, having the confidence to do so.

In schools, how can we begin this expansive thinking? One approach is to provide frameworks that seek to empower colleagues rather than delegate tasks to them. From a monitoring and evaluation perspective, BST does just that.

The way the world is now turning, we need to rethink how we develop leadership cultures that enable us all to contribute to the school’s vision.

Exciting times are ahead for our empowering leaders!

More About BST…

The BST process enables you as school leaders to articulate your ambition for pupils in your school and identify clear processes that will bring this from vision to reality. This approach to self-evaluation places ambitions (like empowering school leadership) at the centre of your school thinking. Used wisely, it will complement current monitoring and evaluation work.

There are 3 versions available; Primary (including Early Years), Secondary (including Sixth Form) and All Through.

If you’re interested or would like to find out more about BST, you can find more insight here. Alternatively, you can get in touch and we would be happy to discuss BST with you.
